Introducing MicroStrategy Library (well sort of). A Live demo that you can test drive at the bottom of this page.
As many of you know, I'm a fan of MicroStrategy. While writing my last post I realized some of you may not be familiar with MicroStrategy or some of the newer features and functionality available. More recently MicroStrategy released a new user interface, MicroStrategy Library, which is much more user friendly and configurable than then standard web version.
MicroStrategy Library is highly configurable in that you can assign reports to users/user groups and have them appear in the users report roster landing page. The user will see a complete listing of the reports they have access to in a single place. The report access piece was true in the traditional web version, but it was a classic folder structure which and isn't the best user experience
Library is also adapts to screen size. This means a user can log into their workstation at 1920x1080 or their mobile device and get a similar user experience. Feel free to give this a try by reviewing this post on a mobile device vs a standard desktop.
Full disclosure - the MicroStrategy environment below is not my environment. It is the live demo directly from the MicroStrategy website. It contains some sample dossiers including their actual financial reports which are publicly available.
